Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. As for her final fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO during the second round. Her dominance continued and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the first round and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's had in a major way. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
